Mrs. Thoman-Cha discussed House Bill 96 and the proposed 30% cash reserve cap. To prepare, she plans to bring resolutions next month to establish a Fund 070 (Capital Improvements) and Fund 035 (Retirement). A $5.5 million transfer is included in the forecast, with approximately $200,000 going to Fund 035 based on past retirement costs, and the remainder to Fund 070. This would bring reserves to 29%.

Dr. Singh and Mr.Souder provided an update on student progress, academic programs, and new initiatives. Highlights included improved student engagement, increased parent involvement, and successful credit recovery efforts. Updates were shared on new course offerings and expanded partnerships. The board was invited to upcoming end-of-year events, including Awards Night and Graduation.
Selected to participate in the ODEW approved Innovative Leader Institute consisting of 5 in person learning opportunities and 2 virtual meetings.
$200 for the Boys Track MVP and and Girls Track MVP trophies from Sandy Stone on behalf of Stoney's Kind Kids
