Spoke about crisis team at high school with the loss of Noah Lear. Positive feedback, and students are adjusting well at this pointin time.
Mobile dentist wrapped up visits for the year.
Upcoming events:
May 2nd is the mentoring student field trip.
May 6th is field day.
May 9th fifth graders will visit the middle school.

Mr. Kimmel sat in on thirty two senior capstone projects today - went extremely well.
Ashley Keener has been mentoring with Mrs. Hawkins.
Mrs. Showers leadership on the capstone projects was critical to the success.
Mr. Kimmel thanked ommunity judges stepping up to help volunteer on the senior capstone projects.
Calendar of events now scrolling on our website, along with a calendar of all district activities. Anything impacting parents or community will be kept on the calendar. Makes it very easy to access things taking place in the district in one location.

Discussions
Discussion of Technology items.

Mr. Kimmel and Mr. Cook discussed some concerns with the present contract with META Solutions. Careful consideration of the business relationship has been weighed over the last year given the discussons on the contract that took place at the end of last fiscal year, and concerns raised at that point in time.
After discussion the the following ites were voted on:
1. The Bucyrus City Schools Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent and Treasurer to enter into a contract with NWOCA for computer services effective July 1, 2016. The Treasurer and Superintendent are authorized to work with NWOCA to transfer the necessary files from the current ITC to NWOCA to complete the move.

The Bucyrus City Schools Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent and Treasurer to terminate the membership agreement with META Solutions (formerly TRECA) effective at midnight on June 30, 2016. The Board of Education furthermore authorizes the Treasurer and Superintendent to work with META solutions to facilitate the transfer of district records to NWOCA in accordance with district needs to facilitate continuation of operations during the transition period.
