Athletic council met December 7th.
Hall of Fame inductions on Feb. 19th at the basketball game versus Wynford.
Harry Martin plaque has been installed.
Track concerns needing discussed along with facilities.

Pioneer meets on December 21st for their Board of Education meeting.

Student Achievement
Minutes
Transitioned from NCLB to Every Child Achieves Act - more control to State and Locals is the intent.

Wellness
Minutes
Met December 11th - at BSS
Process of reviewing the annual wellness policy.
Two shot clinics in May at BSS and another in August. These clinics are being provided as a partnership with the Crawford County Health Department.
The mobile dentist will be visting BES on March 4th and 7th.
Still have a need for mentors at BES.
Wellness committee will be meeting Friday, February 5, 2016 at BES.

Preschool expansion - $40,000.00 in grants from ODE (continuing).
15 new students starting in preschool on January 4th.
Another waiting list has started for preschool.
2016/2017 district calendar being voted on - voting closes on Friday the 18th.
Adult diploma program - North Central State and Crawford Success Center. Adults in community can earn a true high school diploma not a GED by completing this program. Welding and STNA are two focuses (high demand jobs) and quicker pathway for students. Examining options for STNA program at BSS. Have to pass a workplace readiness assessment to complete the program.
